vs Tottenham Hotspurs 1-0

I slept around 8pm, thanks to the hockey training which made my body tired as a ho' doing a 10 customers marathon. Then around 11.30 I woke up, and headed straight to the cafe, to witness another Red Devil's (hopefully) winning strike. I met Din Kayak there, who are another stern supporter of Manchester United, and we found seats at the front of the screen.

Since Rooney and Scholes were still serving their (last) match suspension, it was quite clear that the game will lost some of its flair due to the shortage of good attacker. And my posulate was materialized because right after the middle of the first half, the Man Utd team look like they lost their way. Kevin Richardson and Louis Saha played under the par, while Carrick (who was booed by the Spurs' fan - they missed him so much) had shown the ultimate matureness in the game. He controlled the midfield area with precise passings and swift moves. It was like a Roy Keane was in the house.

Credits also should be given to experienced Ryan Giggs and Edwin van der Sar for wonderful display of sheer talent. Giggs who headed the only goal after Tot's Robinson cold only palm up the powerful free kick by Cristiano Ronaldo. However like in the middle of the game, Giggs had to play with blood raining down from his nose, no thanks to Edgar David's elbow. Glory Glory!
