vs Newcastle Utd 2-0

Yesterday must be a football day for me. I watched 3 football games straight (Man U vs Newcastle, Totenham vs Portsmouth, Real Madrid vs Ath. Madrid) just to kill time.

The ManU-Newcastle game was an ok game, with Cristiano Ronaldo played the lead role here. He tirelessly run all over the pitch with his swift ball dribbling and accurate shots. I kinda notice that Fergie is trying to convert this lad into "Beckham 2.0" since he took all the free/corner kick duty, which I think can be perfected in like one more season, and after he is THE specialist free kicker, he will have a row with Fergie and the sold to Real Madrid - just kidding!

Anyhow, Saha didn't played at all during the game, where rumour has it that he is nursing an injury. Heinze whom just return from his long-MIA, was injured, again. Poor chap. I sensed that Carrick seems to lost his touch, decreasing in performance in every game, where he sucked in this game. Rooney still had not found his form, but I still keeping my faith to this bearded-blue-eyed-orge. And Vidic is flourishing after his long absent from the first eleven line-up.

And Solskjaer was one lucky guy, where the two goals is credited to him for just being there. The first goal was an easy one, where Ronaldo powerful blast just only able to meet the goal post which then ricochet'd to Solskjaer who happened to be in the middle of a yawning goal. The second goal was even more freakier. In the early minutes in the second half, Vidic manage to blast a powerful shot from just outside a busy Newcastle's penalty box, which the ball was slightly deflected by Solskjaer's calf and went staright into the rights side of the post, narrowly missing the goal post. United fans sure has to thank Solskjaer's luck for the game's victory.

Now Manchester Utd is on the throne of the league, and we all sure hope that it will stay that way until the end of the league. Finger crossed.
