Bloodbath at VT

Apparently Bush administration is the administration which faced the most crisis in American history. It seems like more and more American died under his presidential period, caused or not caused by him. There was the 9/11 tragedy, then the Iraq invasion, then the Katrina and now the mass murder at Virginia Tech, where 33 unfortunate people confirmed dead and 17 others injured.

The shooter, was a fourth year engineering korean american student Rain Cho Seung-hui, who was a lonely loser and a weirdo. Apparently, he love to take chicks pictures with his handphone camera and the motive of his blow-up was to kill the victim's boyfriend, and guess what? The boyfriend is very much alive right now.

Another controversy erupted as if the shooting is not tragic enough, where the shooting actually occured at two different times with several hours interval. The shooting first occured at a co-ed dormitory and later the shooting range changed to the engineering building coz who can resist shooting engineering students? And like a PR for Paris Hilton, the VT administration refused to close down the campus after the initial shooting to avoid bad rep from the news, coz maybe student died like every 10 seconds in VT so they stopped taking care.

And asian american exspecially korean are worried for being nerdy korean as for sure korean will be hated as much as arabs in america. Asian is the new arab!

I just know this shit will happen sometime somewhere.

Cristiano Ronaldo & Alan Smith

Manchester United FC advanced to the UEFA Champions League semi-finals in thrilling fashion as they swept AS Roma aside 7-1 at Old Trafford.

Four-goal salvo
A goal behind from the first leg, Sir Alex Ferguson's men blew their opponents away with four first-half strikes from Michael Carrick, Alan Smith, Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo. Further efforts after the break from Ronaldo, Carrick and Patrice Evra completed a remarkable 8-3 aggregate success for a United team who will fear neither prospective semi-final opponent, AC Milan or FC Bayern München, after this display.

United first
For United, it was the first time they had overcome a first-leg deficit in Europe since 1984 and a famous fightback against FC Barcelona. Yet this victory, achieved without a handful of regulars, carried echoes of a more recent triumph, namely their 1999 UEFA Champions League win. Captain Ryan Giggs, the only survivor of that side starting the contest, created four of the goals as United produced arguably their best European performance since that glorious campaign - when they secured their only previous Italian scalps, beating FC Internazionale Milano and Juventus.

Eyebrow-raiser
Funny to think that there were raised eyebrows before kick-off with Sir Alex's decision to begin with Alan Smith up front in a 4-2-3-1 formation. On a high-stakes occasion, Smith's selection was an undoubted gamble, the striker not having made a single start in the UEFA Champions League or Premiership since suffering a broken left leg and dislocated ankle 14 months ago.

Whirlwind start
Smith would reward his manager's bold move during a whirlwind opening by United, who, as if galvanised by the electric atmosphere inside Old Trafford, turned the tie on its head with three quick-fire goals. Carrick dented the floodgates irrevocably with a spectacularly-struck first European goal on eleven minutes. There seemed little danger to the Roma defence as Ronaldo slipped the ball inside from the right but the England midfielder left Doni for dead with a cute chip from outside the box.

Rooney strike
United's second after 17 minutes showed the Premiership leaders at their high-speed best. Breaking from their own half, Gabriel Heinze played the ball infield to Giggs who in turn slid it through to Smith, cutting out Cristian Chivu in the process. Smith, without a goal in 17 months, ended his long wait with a cool finish high to Doni's left. Old Trafford erupted. And before Roma had time to recover, they were three down. Giggs surged down the right and sent a low ball across goal which Rooney turned in off the far post.

Ronaldo finish
Daniele De Rossi headed wide from a David Pizarro free-kick as Roma sought a response but United kept coming. Ronaldo shot narrowly past the far post, then, with half-time approaching, Carrick sliced wide when it looked easier to score. It did not matter. A minute before the interval, the superb Giggs sent Ronaldo racing down the right and the Portuguese drilled a low effort between Doni and his near post.

Goal flurry
Four minutes into the second half it was five. Following a half-cleared corner, Giggs turned the ball back across goal and Ronaldo popped up at the far post to score. Pride forced Roma forward and Darren Fletcher blocked Mancini's goalbound header but things only got worse for the visitors as Carrick curled in the sixth from 20 metres on the hour. Although De Rossi then volleyed in a Francesco Totti cross, Evra compounded the Italians' misery with a low drive for United's seventh.

What It's Like - Everlast
What It's Like?

We've all seen the man at the liquor store beggin' for your change
The hair on his face is dirty, dreadlocked and full of mange
He ask the man for what he could spare with shame in his eyes
Get a job you fuckin' slob's all he replied

CHORUS

God forbid you ever had to walk a mile in his shoes
'Cause then you really might know what it's like to sing the blues
Then you really might know what it's like (X4)

Mary got pregnant from a kid named Tom who said he was in love
He said don't worry about a thing baby doll I'm the man you've been dreamin' of
But three months later he said he won't date her or return her call
And she sweared god damn if I find that man I'm cuttin' off his balls
And then she heads for the clinic and she gets some static walkin' through the doors
They call her a killer, and they call her a sinner, and they call her a whore

CHORUS

God forbid you ever had to walk a mile in her shoes
'Cause then you really might know what it's like to have to choose
Then you really might know what it's like (X4)

I've seen a rich man beg
I've seen a good man sin
I've seen a tough man cry
I've seen a loser win
And a sad man grin
I heard an honest man lie
I've seen the good side of bad
And the down side of up
And everything between
I licked the silver spoon
Drank from the golden cup
Smoked the finest green
I stroked daddies dimes at least a couple of times
Before I broke there heart
You know where it ends
Yo, it usually depends on where you start

I knew this kid named Max
He used to get fat stacks out on the corner with drugs
He liked to hang out late at night
Liked to get shit faced
And keep pace with thugs
Until late one night there was a big gun fight
Max lost his head
He pulled out his chrome .45
Talked some shit
And wound up dead
Now his wife and his kids are caught in the midst of all of his pain
You know it comes that way
At least that's what they say when you play the game

CHORUS

God forbid you ever had to wake up to hear the news
'Cause then you really might know what it's like to have to lose
Then you really might know what it's like (X4)
To have to lose...

We really do not appreciate somebody until somebody's gone. And although parting is such a sweet sorrow, I have to admit I am not good at saying goodbye. On 28 March, I was told that one of the cleaner passed away that morning. I was shocked a little but its the afterburn that suffocate me. I wasn't particularly close to her, just an occasionally smile when we bump each other, or when she came to clean the office. Sometimes admittedly, she does annoy me sometimes with her complaints. But after her passing, I found myself ridden with abundant guilt for not knowing her more. At least I can ask for her health or her family or something worth remembering but all she left me is the lingering memories of her. I just wish that I could do better.

Mami!

Last April the third, my mum turned 45 years young, and for the first time in my life I manage to pick up the damn phone to wish her a happy birthday. It was a puny thing to do compared to the mighty love she gave me. She is the one who always understand my actions and back me up whenever my sorry ass messed up. She gets my tough love, and I would rather bleed to death than knowing she's hurting. I hope that I will die before her because I do not deserve losing the angel of my life. I'm praying that whatever the consequences may come, I would not make her hurt. Mak, I will always love you and always be.

Last Friday, the coach summoned me to play against a bunch of school boys. It's been forever since I played hockey and I'm sure after the game that my body will retaliate. And man, do being old sucks. Even though we won like 9-1, my hand lacerated pretty bad and I was dog tired. Come next morning, my body was aching in unison. Gimme my youth back!

On Saturday, I went out with my old friends. We pretty much did nothing but exchanging updates and catching up stories about others. After a dinner at KLCC we went to Petaling Street, and then a quick drive by at Chowkit Road/Lrg Hj Taib to check out the tranny scene there. Lets lust say that they are still look like them amazonian woman with breasts that rivalled Dolly Parton but with manly face. Gawk, gawk, gawk, shivers, laugh!

After that my friend Krol send me home and we had a little chat. I asked him about his cancer treatment, and he told me that his former annihilated cancers came back. Man, I am disappointed and pray nothing but the best for him. Now when will I stop smoking?
